On 9 January 1673/4 in Accomack Co., VA John Coale bought 700 acres of land from the heirs of Nicholas Waddelowe (McKey: 18). An abstract of the deed in part reads:
Ambrose White and his wife Comfort, Robert Mason and his wife Temperance, and William Nocke wife Patience (the wives all daughters and heirs of Nicholas Waddelowe, deceased) for 40,000 lbs tobacco sold to John Coale, inn holder, 700 on Pungoteague Creek at the head of Pokomoke Branch, once owned by John Robins ...
In his mother-in-law Amy Fowkes' [AMEY] will on 20 August 1678 in Accomack Co., VA, William was named as an heir. It was proved 23 October 1678 (Nottingham: 9). An abstract in part reads:

William Nock witnessed the will of Robert Coleburn on 6 April 1698 in Accomack Co., VA. it was proved 7 June 1698 (Nottingham: 29). An abstract of the Coulburn will reads:
Coulburn, Robert - 6 Apr. 1698 - 7 June 1698 - To son Robert Coulburn plantation where I now live. To daughter Frances 50 acres in Maryland called Prayers Neck. To my unborn child, if a son, 200 acres in Maryland called Heart's Ease, if a girl the whole divident containing 250 acres to be divided between my daughter Rebecca & that daughter which is yet unborn. Wife (no name) Exec. Witt: William Nock, James Lee, Johanna Ogleby. Rebecca Coulburn, widow of Robert, qualified.

She died before 1707. She and William Nock had William Nock, Waddilo Nock, John Nock, Nehemiah Nock, all in Accomack Co., VA. Second he married Philiocleare Chambers circa 1707 in Accomack Co., VA. Philiocleare was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1683. She was the daughter of Frances Chambers. Philiocleare died before 1 January 1711/12 (Nottingham: 63). The Court record reads:
Chambers, John & Philocleare - Philocleare being dead & John being gone in some remote parts 15 years since & not being heard of, Adm. on their estates to Robert Norton as marrying Frances Chambers, mother of John & Philocleare - 1 Jan. 1711/12.
He married third Elizabeth, the widow Abbott.
Elizabeth, made a will on 4 February 1742/3 in Accomack Co., VA. It was proved 22 February 1742/3. An abstract of her will reads:
Nock, Elizabeth - 4 Feb. 1742/3 - 22 Feb. 1742/3 - To grandson Joseph Nock. To son Robert Abbott, son Richard Abbott, daughter Peggy Nock. Son in law Elijah Nock, he to pay his brother John Nock 4 bbls. of corn &c. Daughter Mary Chambers. To son Richard Abbot's wife. To John Nock, Jr. Bal. of estate to be divided between son Robert Abbot, Richard Abbot, John Nock, Stephen Warrington & John Chambers. "children" Robert Abbot & John Exrs. Witt: John Wilkins, Thomas Webb, George Nock. In order of prob: "John", one of the executors referred to as John Nock.

In his father William Nock's will on 4 September 1724 in Accomack Co., VA, William was named as an heir. It was proved 8 February 1726 (Nottingham: 79).
William made a will on 26 February 1737/8 in Accomack Co., VA. It was proved 2 May 1738 (Nottingham: 116). An abstract of his will reads:
Nock, William - 26 Feb. 1737/8 - 2 May 1738 - To son Elijah Nock 250 acres with my plantation, but should my son William be destitute for a home then he to have his life on my plantation To son John Nock 150 acres above the main county road for life, reversion to his son Joseph Nock, his now wife having her widowhood in same. To wife Elizabeth my dwelling plantation containing 250 acres with the use of 200 acres of marsh on the Bayside during her life. To sons John & Elijah 200 acres marsh on the Bayside. To my 6 sons William, John, Nehemiah, Solomon, George & Elijah. To daughter Sarah Nock. To grandson Joseph Nock, son of John Nock & Margaret, his wife. To grandson William Ratlif, son of Charles Ratlif & Waddelo his wife. Son Elijah & daughter Sarah to be with their mother until capable of taking care of themselves. Sons William & John Exrs. Witt: John Nock, John Tankard, Steaven Warington. In ord. of prob: William Nock eld, son & heir at law."
2. John Nock was born circa 1672. John died before 29 April 1740. He first married Mary Barnes circa 1696. Mary was born circa 1678. Mary was the daughter of John Barnes and Elizabeth Anderson. Mary died circa 1716. Mary and John Nock had John Nock, Patience Nock, Elizabeth Nock, Amy Nock, William Nock (the elder,) Comfort Nock, Mary Nock and Ann Nock, all in Accomack County.
In John Barnes' will on 27 April 1714 in Accomack Co., VA, Mary was named as an heir. It was proved 5 April 1715 (Nottingham: 51).
Circa 1717 John Nock married second Rose Armitrader (Trader). She was the daughter of Richard Armitrader and his wife Rose Kellam. In the orders of probate of her father, Richard's will her son William (the younger) is named as her heir. (Nottingham: 182). Richard Armitrader's will reads:
Armitrader, Richard - 24 Feb. 1755 - 25 Mar. 1755 - To wife Elizabeth whole estate during her widow, then to daughter Sabrah Meers Plantation where I live. Grandsons William & Benjamin Knock. Grandaughter Patience Knock. Grandson Levin Knock. Daughter Sabra Meers residual legatee. Son in law John Meers Exr. Witt: Francis Savage, Rowland Savage, William Red. In order of Prob: John Meers, husband of Sabra, one of the daughters & co heirs of the testator, & William Knock, son & heir at law of Rose Knock, deceased, the other daughter & co heir of the said testator, being present & having nothing to object, the said will was admitted to Probate.
Rose and John Nock had William Nock (the younger,) George Nock, Benjamin Nock and Levin Nock.
In his grandmother Amy's will on 20 August 1678 in Accomack Co., VA, John was named as an heir. It was proved 23 October 1678 (Nottingham: 9). An abstract in part reads:

In William Nock's will on 4 September 1724 in Accomack Co., VA, John was named as an heir. It was proved 8 February 1726 (Nottingham: 79).

Benjamin made a will on 7 July 1765 in Accomack Co., VA. It was proved 31 December 1766 (Nottingham: 229). An abstract of the will reads:
To son William 300 acres on the east side of the land where I now live. To son Benjamin 250 acres being the remaining part of the land where I now live. To son Levi Nock 200 acres land and marsh on Muddy Creek that formerly belonged to George Johnson dec'd. To daughter Patience Accor?. To grandchildren which my daughter Sarah bore to Henry Reed.
