At a court held at Accomacke the 23rd September anno domni 1639.
The deposition of Jo. Winnoll had and taken in open court. This depondent saith that Wm. Jones being on the shore at Coccapeacke, Christopher Stephens required the said Jones to stay on the shore and he would return and fetch him presently, but the said Stephens going aboard presently hoist the sail and stood away leaving the said Jones behind him.
