1. Hancock1 BELOTE, son of William BELOTE, was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1705.

He married Abigail WALTER circa 1733. Abigail was born circa 1715. She was the daughter of John and Mary WALTER. In John WALTER's will on 4 October 1743 in Northampton Co., VA, Abigail was named as an heir. It was probated (Marshall, James Handley., Abstracts of the Wills and Administrations of Northampton County, Virginia 1632-1802 (Canden Maine: Picton Press, 1994), p 313 (hereafter cited as Marshall, James Handley, Northampton Co. Wills). An abstract reads: "To loving wife Mary during her widowhood 1/2 the 240 acres I now dwell on and then to my son John. to son John the other 1/2 of my land. to my daughter Margaret Belote. to my daughter Dorothy Belote. to daughter Abigail Belote. To daughter Betty Walter. to my godson Obediah Thornman when 21. After wife's widowhood, remaining estate to be divided by my children John, Mary, Sarah, Elisha, and Betty Walter. Son John Extr. In Hancock BELOTE's will, Abigail was named by Hancock to handle his estate on 17 March 1765 in Accomack Co., VA. The will was probated 30 July 1765 (Nottingham, Stratton., Wills and Administrations of Accomack County, Virginia 1663-1800 (Bowie MD: Heritage Books, Inc., 1990), p 224 (hereafter cited as Nottingham, Stratton, Wills and Administrations). In Hancock BELOTE's will on 17 March 1765 in Accomack Co., VA, Abigail was named as an heir. (Ibid., p 224). Abigail Belote was paid L375 for keeping William Aimes daughter (Walczyk, Gail M., St. George's Parish Accomack County Vestry Book 1763-1787 (Coram, NY: Peter's Row, 1998.), p 13 (hereafter cited as Walczyk, Gail M., Vestry Book). The record reads: "To Abigail Belote L375 for keeping William Aimes' daughter."

Abigail Belote was paid 10 shillings 6 pence for keeping Wm. Aimes' youngest child (Ibid., p 15). The record reads: "Paid Abigail Belote for keeping Wm. Aimes youngest child 2 months and 3 days."

Abigail Belote was paid 550 pound of tobacco for keeping Patience Onions (Ibid., p 24). On 3 December 1774 in Accomack Co., VA, Tilney Rogers was paid 1250 pounds of tobacco for keeping Abigail Belote. On 3 December 1774 John Belote was paid 800 pounds of tobacco for keeping Abigail Belote (Ibid., p 48). On 23 December 1775 in Accomack Co., VA, Jonias PIGOTT was paid 850 pounds of tobacco for keeping Abigail Belote (Ibid., p 48). On 16 December 1776 Jonias PIGOTT was paid 800 pounds of tobacco for keeping Abigail Belote (Ibid., p 56). On 6 December 1777 Jonias PIGOTT was paid 1000 pounds of tobacco for keeping Abigail Belote (Ibid., p 61). The record states: "Johineash Pigott."

On 15 June 1778 Jonias PIGOTT was paid 19.14.0 sterling for keeping Abigail Belote (Ibid., p 64). The record states: "Jeconiah Pigott."

On 22 November 1779 Abel Badger was paid 48 pounds sterling for keeping Abigail Belote for 1 year (Ibid., p 70). On 27 November 1780 John BELOTE was paid 200 pounds of tobacco for keeping Abigail Belote (Ibid., p 74). Abigail died before 6 December 1784 (Ibid., p 92). The Vestry records state that on this date "Jeconis Pickett was paid 180 pounds of tobacco for finding a coffin and burying A. Belote."

In 1745 in Accomack Co., VA Hancock bought 200 acres of A39 from Edmund Scarburgh (Whitelaw, Ralph T., Virginia's Eastern Shore A History of Northampton and Accomack Counties (Gloucester MA: Peter Smith), p 739 (hereafter cited as Whitelaw, Ralph T., Virginia's Eastern Shore). Hancock made a will on 17 March 1765 in Accomack Co., VA. It was probated 30 July 1765 (Nottingham, Stratton., Wills and Administrations of Accomack County, Virginia 1663-1800 (Bowie MD: Heritage Books, Inc., 1990), p 224 (hereafter cited as Nottingham, Stratton, Wills and Administrations). An abstract reads: "To wife Abigil all my land during her widowhood, then to be sold and the money divided between by 8 children, Mary Hancock, Elisha, Sarah, Betty, John, William, and Abbigil. To daughter Siner Ames. Daughter Elizabeth Belote. Sons John and William to live with their mother until 18 years of age. Bezaleel Watson and wife exrs. Witt: Margaret Martin, Littleton Darby."

On 3 December 1774 John Belote was paid 800 pounds of tobacco for keeping Abigail Belote (Walczyk, Gail M., Vestry Book, p 48). On 27 November 1780 John BELOTE of Hancock was paid 200 pounds of tobacco for keeping Abigail Belote (Ibid., p 74).

10 ix. William BELOTE was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1750. In Hancock BELOTE's will on 17 March 1765 in Accomack Co., VA, William was named as an heir. It was probated 30 July 1765 (Nottingham, Stratton, Wills and Administrations, p 224).

11 x. Abigail BELOTE was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1753. In Hancock BELOTE's will on 17 March 1765 in Accomack Co., VA, Abigail was named as an heir. It was probated 30 July 1765 (Ibid., p 224). On 28 September 1778 Abigail BELOTE was fined 20 shillings for having a natural born child (Walczyk, Gail M., Vestry Book, p 67). The record reads: 'By Ann Satchell for 3 B 60/ & by Abigail Belote for 1 ditto 20/."

Second Generation

5. Hancock1 Belote of son of Hancock Belote and Abigail Walter, was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1737. Hancock died before 31 July 1797 (Nottingham, Stratton, Wills and Administrations, p 438).

He married twice. He first married Female Warrington circa 1762 in Accomack Co., VA. She was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1744. She was the daughter of James and Mary Warrington, [---She died circa 1782. NOTE: There are unresolved questions concerning her first name. James Warrington names her son as his grandson, and "Mary" was the name of Hancock's widow when his estate was settled 13 years later. Also, James Warrington is known to have had a daughter Mary, fate unknown. The wording of James Warrington's will suggests that Mary Warrington Belote MAY HAVE BEEN dead in 1784 when her father's will was written. NOTE: See the will from Charles Warrington 16 September 1996 below.

He married Mary before 1775 in Accomack Co., VA. Her surname is not known. Mary was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1755.

In his father Hancock Belote's will on 17 March 1765 in Accomack Co., VA. NOTE: See above. Hancock Belote was assigned a pew in the new church (Walczyk, Gail M., Vestry Book, p 19). NOTE: Although assignment were made no one was happy with them so they were not carried out. On 24 October 1768 Hancock Belote was paid 152 for 4 levey overcharges (Walczyk, Gail M., Vestry Book, p 28).

In James Warrington's will on 23 September 1784 in Accomack Co., VA, Hancock was named as an heir. It was probated 28 September 1784 (Accomack County, Will Book). The will reads: "In the name of God Amen, I James Warrington of Accomack County being sick and low, but of sound mind and memory and knowing that it is appointed for all to die, and to prevent disputes after my death, doth dispose of what it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life in manner and form followeth: That is to say, I give my soul to God that age it to me and my body to the dust from whence it came, to be buried in a christian like manner by by executors. Item. I give my grandson James Warington, one hundred acres being one part of my land whereon he and his mother now lives. He not disturbing his mother during her widowhood, on provision he claims no part of his father's estate from the rest of his brothers, if he should then the said land to be divided equally between the three brothers, to him and his heirs forever. Item. I give and bequeath unto my grandson William Savage all the remaining part of my land to him and his heirs forever. Item. I give my wwife Marry Warrington all the estate I had by her, also one saddle, one pair of cotton cards and one pair of wool cards, two first choice of my hoggs, one frying pan, one tub and bucket one best cow. I also give unto my wife one third part of all of one half my crop. Item. I give my grandson William Savage one third of one half of my crop. Item. I give unto my grandson William Savage all my wearing aparel. Item. I give to my grandson John Edwards one case of bottles to him and his heirs. Item. I give to my grandson James Warrington Belote five pounds cash to be laid out in schooling for him, to be laid out by his father or guardian. Item. I also give unto my wife all the slays and gears I have. Item. I give and dispose of all the rest of my estate ungiven away to be equally divided between my daughter Bridgett Edwards and Hancock Belote. I also appoint my friend Zorobabel Rogers and James Warrington executors of this, my last Will and Testament revoking all other Wills, by me heretofore made by me. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this twenty third date of September 1784."

Signed, sealed in presence of us, William Belote, Thomas Elliott, Zorobabel Rogers, Siner Rogers.

At a Court held in Accomack County, September 28th 1784, This Will was proved by the oaths of William Belote and Thomas Elliott witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded, and on the motion of Zorobabel Rogers and James Warrington Junr. taking oath and giving Robert Drummond and Nathaniel Badger for their security who entered into and acknowledged a bond for that purpose certificate is granted fo obtaining a probate thereof in due form.

Hancock Belote was paid 02.10.00 for Abbott Belote. The record reads: "At a Meeting of the Overseers of the Poor in order to lay the Parish Levy; Drummond Town, March 6th 1797 - To Hancock Belote for Abbott Belote 02.10.00. (Walczyk, Gail M., Meetings of the Overseers of the Poor for Accomack & St. Georges Parish September 1787 - 1819, (Coram NY: Peter's Row) p 87. (hereafter cited as (Walczyk, Gail M, Overseers).

On 31 July 1797 the estate of Hancock Belote (Nottingham, Stratton, Wills and Administrations, p 438). The estate of Hancock Belote was administered to John Read, Mary Belote, widow relinquished her right. Edmund Read and Richard Read surity.

Hancock Belote and his first Warrington wife had the following children:

7. ii. Walter Belote was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1766. Walter made a will on 29 June 1817 in Accomack Co., VA. It was probated (Miles & Miles, Wills 1800-1860, p 57.). An abstract of his Will reads: "Charles Belote & James Belote of Hancock Extrs. To brother James Belote L6. To brother Caleb Belote L6. To Elizabeth Belote L4 the wife of Charles Belote, Sister Caty Bloxom, & sister Nancy Bloxom. My brother Jesse Belote should have none of my property. Witt: Charles Belote, Caty Powell & Jesse Martin. Probate: John W. Rodgers & Smith R. Carmine. securities." He witnessed the will of James Warington Belote on on 14 November 1820 in Accomack Co., VA. It was probated 25 December 1820 (Miles & Miles, Wills 1800-1860, p 55.).

9. iv. Nancy Belote was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1771. She married Richard Bloxom on 10 March 1787 in Accomack Co., VA (Turman, Nora Miller, Marriage Records, p 33.). The marriage record reads: "Richard Bloxom to Nanny Belote 10 March 1787. Hancock Belote security." Richard was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1762. In Walter Belote will on 29 June 1817 in Accomack Co., VA, Nancy was named as an heir. It was probated 25 November 1822 (Miles & Miles, Wills 1800-1860, p 57.). NOTE see above will.

The marriage record reads: "Hancock Belote to Catherine Watson of Frederick 28 December 1898 William Manerald securtiy."

Catherine was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1791.

In December 1799 his orphan's account was recorded by her guardian Mary Belote. Hancock was of school age in December 1799 for besides clothes there is an accounting for 2 1/2 Months Schooling at shillings 6 pence. - Walczyk, Gail M. 15. x. Esther Belote was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1790. In September 1799 her orphan's account was recorded by her guardian Mary Belote. 16. xi. Mary Belote was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1792. In December of 1801 her orphan's account was recorded by her guardian Mary Belote. Mary was of school age in December 1799 for besides clothes there is an accounting for 2 Months & 8 days Schoolings at 6 shillings. - Walczyk, Gail M. She married Levi Moore on 31 December 1818 in Accomack Co., VA as his third wife.(Turman, Nora Miller, Marriage Records, p 206.). She died circa 1826.

Levi was born circa 1783. Levi was the son of Stephen Moore and Catherine Boggs. He first married Petunia Simpkins on 13 March 1804 in Accomack Co., VA (Turman, Nora Miller, Marriage Records, p 206.). The marriage record reads: "Levi Moore to Petunia Simpkins 13 March 1804. Charles Stevens security." He married second Mary Howarth about 12 August 1816. A licnese bond was obtained. widower. After mary's death he married Susanna Hickman on 19 March 1827 in Accomack Co., VA (Turman, Nora Miller, Marriage Records, p 206.). The marriage record reads: "Levin to Susanna Hickman of Edward 19 March 1827. John S. Ames security."

Levi died on 29 November 1860 (Walczyk, Gail M., Deaths). The death register reads: "Moore, Levi, w/m, 29 Nov 1860 in ACC, 77yrs, c/o Moore, Stephen & Moore, Catherine, born in ACC, husband of Moore, Susan, Moore, Geo. M. Son g/info."

Third Generation

6. i. James Warington2 Belote (Hancock1) was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1764. James died before 25 December 1820 (Miles & Miles, Wills 1800-1860, p 55.).

He married Molly circa 1794. Her surmane is unknown. Molly, was born circa 1776. In James Warington Belote's will, Molly, was named by James to handle his estate on 14 November 1820 in Accomack Co., VA. The will was probated 25 December 1820 (Miles & Miles, Wills 1800-1860, p 55)

In James Warrington's will on 23 September 1784 in Accomack Co., VA, James was named as an heir. It was probated 28 September 1784 (Accomack County, Will Book). NOTE: See above will of James Warrington.

In Walter Belote's will on 29 June 1817 in Accomack Co., VA, James was named as an heir. It was probated (Miles & Miles, Wills 1800-1860, p 57.). NOTE: SEE WILL OF WALTER BELOTE BELOW

James made a will on 14 November 1820 in Accomack Co., VA. It was probated 25 December 1820 (Miles & Miles, Wills 1800-1860, p 55.). An abstract of his Will reads: "Wife Molly Belote Extr. To son Lewis Belote part of the plantation I bought of the Estate of John Wise decd adjoingin a big ditch called Elliott Ditch, Charles Belote & the Wise land, then to the head of Burton's Branch & the crossroads leading to Wachepreague & the lot I bought of John G. Joynes adjoining the crossroads. To son William Belote the plantation whereon I now reside together with the balance of land I purchased of the Extrs. of John Wise decd, which is not given to mu son Lewis Belote. The plantation I bought of William Seymour to be rented out until my daughter Rachel reaches age 21. the annual rents as follows: to daughter Cassy $20, to grandaughter Jane Kellam L5 for schooling & the balance to the schooling and raising of my 3 daughters Tabitha, Molly and Rachel Belote. After Rachel reaches age 21 the land I bought of William Seymour to be sold & the money to my daughters Nancy Kellam, Cassy, Tabitha, Molly & Rachel Belote. My personal estate to above 5 daughters (Note: Conditions are given if each child dies before reaching a certain age.) Sons Lewis Belote to be free at 18 & son William Belote to be free at 19. Witt: Levin L. Joynes & Walter Belote. Probate: William Kellam, Thomas Lewis, Caleb Belote & Isma Wyatt securities."

James Warington and Molly Belote had the following children:

13. i. Ann3 Belote was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1799. She married William Kellam about 23 September 1819 in Accomack Co., VA. William was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1794. William Kellam gave security for the will of James Warington Belote on 25 December 1820 (Miles & Miles, Wills 1800-1860, p 55.).

14. ii. Lewis Belote was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1802. He married Mary Mears of Arthur on 25 June 1827 in Accomack Co., VA (Turman, Nora Miller, Marriage Records). The marriage record reads: "Lewis Belote orphan of James to Mary Mears orphan of Arthur on 25 June 1827. Charles Belote and James Mears of Arthur security."

Mary was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1804. Mary was the daughter of Arthur and Margaret Mears. Mary died on 10 January 1857. pneumonia (Walczyk, Gail M., Deaths). The death register reads: "Beloate, Mary, w/f, 10 Jan 1857 in ACC, pneumonia, 52 yrs, c/o Mears, Arthur & Mears, Margt., born in ACC, housework, Beloate, Lewis, Beloate, Jas. L. Father ?g/info."

In James Warington Belote's will on 14 November 1820 in Accomack Co., VA, Lewis was named as an heir. It was probated 25 December 1820 (Miles & Miles, Wills 1800-1860, p 55.).

On 10 January 1857 Lewis gave the information on his wife Mary's death (Walczyk, Gail M., Deaths).

15. iii. William Belote was born in Accomack Co., VA on 26 April 1804. William died on 22 April 1861. Old Belote Place (Mihalyka, Jean, Graven Stones). The stone reads: "William H. Belote husband of Kezziah born 26 April 1804, died 22 April 1861." He married Keziah Dunton on 18 January 1828 in Accomack Co., VA (Turman, Nora Miller, Marriage Records, p 25.). The marriage record reads: "William Belote of James of H. decd to Keziah Dunton of Richard decd. Charles Belote security."

Keziah was born in Accomack Co., VA on 19 June 1807 (Mihalyka, Jean, Graven Stones, p 23,). Keziah died on 29 November 1849 (Mihalyka, Jean, Graven Stones, p 23.).

16. vi. Keziah "Cassy" Belote was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1806. She married Levin White on 19 December 1822 in Accomack Co., VA (Turman, Nora Miller, Marriage Records, p 321.). The marriage record reads: "Levin White of William to Kessy Belote of James 19 December 1822. Thomas C. Gibb security."

17. vii. Tabitha Belote was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1808. She married Levin Mears on 26 May 1827 in Accomack Co., VA (Turman, Nora Miller, Marriage Records, p 194.). The marriage record reads: "Levin Mears of Arthur to Tabitha Belote orphan of James of H. on 28 May 1827. Charles Belote security." Levin was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1801. Levin was the son of Arthur and Margret Mears. In James Warington Belote 's will on 14 November 1820 in Accomack Co., VA, Tabitha was named as an heir.

18. iv. Molly Belote was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1814. Molly died on 12 July 1859. dropsy (Walczyk, Gail M., Deaths). The death Register reads: "Mears, Molly, w/f, 12 Jul 1859 in ACC, dropsy, 50yrs, c/o Beloate, Jas. & Beloate, Molly, born in ACC, seamstress, Mears, Jas.Mears, Jas., Husband g/info. " She married James Mears on 27 May 1827 in Accomack Co., VA (Turman, Nora Miller, Marriage Records). The marriage record reads: "James Mears of James to Mary Belote of James H. decd. Charles Belote security."

James was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1802. On 12 July 1859 James gave the information on his wife Molly's death (Walczyk, Gail M., Deaths).

8. Caleb2 Belote (Hancock1) was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1769. Caleb died before 28 Febuary 1825 (Miles & Miles, Wills 1800-1860, p 54.).

He married Euphamy Edwards on 26 August 1805 in Accomack Co., VA (Turman, Nora Miller, Marriage Records, p 24.). The marriage record reads: "Caleb Belote to Eupamy Edwards on 26 August 1805. Zorobabel Edwards Security."

Caleb Belote gave security for the will of James Warington Belote on 25 December 1820 (Miles & Miles, Wills 1800-1860, p 55.). NOTE: SEE THE ABOVE WILL OF JAMES WARRRINGTON BELOTE.

On 28 Febuary 1825 the estate of Caleb Belote was administered to Joseph Gunter of Joseph (Miles & Miles, Wills 1800-1860, p 54.). Leters of Administration were granted to Joseph Gunter and Charles Belote. Nathaniel Badger and Thomas R. Joynes securities.

Caleb Belote and Euphamy Edwards had the following child:

20. i. Henrietta "Henny"3 Belote was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1810. She married George White on 14 January 1828 in Accomack Co., VA (Turman, Nora Miller, Marriage Records). The Marriage record reads: "George White to Henny Belote orphan of Caleb on 26 May 1828. Joseph Gunter security." George was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1803.

11. Margaret "Peggy"2 Belote (Hancock1) was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1776.

Circa 1789 Margaret and Abbott Bloxom had Abbott Belote in Accomack County VA. They were not married.

Circa 1793 Margaret and an unknown Richards had a Belote baby in Accomack Co., VA.

Margaret "Peggy" Belote had the following children

21. i. Abbott3 Belote was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1789 Peggy Belote was paid 03.10.00 for Abbott Belote. The record reads: "At a meeting of the Overseers Monday 6th day of September 1790 -To Peggy Belote for do Abbott Bloxum's Bastd 03.10.00. (Walczyk, Gail M, Overseers) p 1. Peggy Belote was paid for Abbott Belote. The record reads: "At a meeting of the Overseers of the Poor Septr 28th 1792 - To Peggy Belote for her chd 02.00.00. " (Ibid p 47.)

Hancock Belote was paid 02.10.00 for Abbott Belote. The record reads: "At a Meeting of the Overseers of the Poor in order to lay the Parish Levy; Drummond Town, March 6th 1797 - To Hancock Belote for Abbott Belote 02.10.00. (Ibid p 87.)

Mary Belote was paid for Abbott Belote. The record reads: "At a Meeting of the Overseers of the Poor March 5th 1798 The record reads: "To . . .do . . . for . . . Mary Belote for Abbott Belote Bastd 03.00.00." (Ibid. p 96.) Mary Belote was paid 03.10.00 for Abbott Belote. The record reads: "At a Meeting of the Overseers in order to Lay the Parish Levy Drummond Town March 4th 1799 - To Meary Belote for Abbott Belote 03.10.00. (Ibid p 108.)

On 30 September 1799 bound to James Warrington until 21. The record reads: "An Indenture made between the Overseers of the Poor and James Warrington to carry out an order made in County Court dated 30 September 1799 to bind Abbit Belote orphan of Peggy Belote until the age of twenty one, unto James Warrington who will provide sufficient Meat, Drink, Washing, Lodging, and Wearing Apparel, teach him reading, writing and arithmetic, the trade of a Farmer and also pay him Twelve Dollars at the expiration of the said time." 22. ii. Baby Belote was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1793. Peggy Belote Belote was paid for Baby Belote. The record reads: "At a Meeting of the Overseers of the Poor To Lay the Parish Levy On Munday the 30th Septr 1793 - To Peggy Belote for do her chd by Richards 02.00.00." (Walczyk, Gail M, Overseers) p 55.

12. Jesse2 Belote (Hancock1) was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1783.

He married Nancy Lewis on 28 May 1808 in Accomack Co., VA (Turman, Nora Miller, Marriage Records, p 25.). The marriage record reads: "Jesse Belote to Nancy Lewis of Thomas 28 May 1808. James Belote security."

Nancy was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1790. Nancy was the daughter of Thomas Lewis and Sally, Mrs. Thomas Lewis.

On 30 July 1798 in Accomack Co., VA it was ordered that Jesse Belote was bound to William White The order was carried out on 26 January 1801. The record reads: "26 January 1801 - An Indenture made between the Overseers of the Poor and William White to carry out an order made in County Court dated 30 July 1798 to bind Jesse Belote orphan of Hancock Belote until the age of twenty one, unto William White who will provide sufficient Meat, Drink, Washing, Lodging, and Wearing Apparel, teach him reading, writing and arithmetic, the trade Carpenter Joiner and also pay him Twelve Dollars at the expiration of the said time." (Walczyk, Gail M. Indentures) p 6.

Walter Belote mentions Jesse Belote in his will in Accomack Co., VA (Miles & Miles, Wills 1800-1860, p 57.). NOTE SEE THE WILL OF WALTER BELOTE ABOVE.

Jesse Belote and Nancy Lewis had the following child:

23. i. Mary3 Belote was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1821. She married Henry Trader on 17 June 1839 in Accomack Co., VA (Turman, Nora Miller, Marriage Records, p 293.). The marriage record reads: "Mary Belote of Jesse to Henry Trader of William on 17 June 1839 William Thornton and Edward Mears securities."

Henry was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1814. Henry died on 24 November 1887 (Walczyk, Gail M., Deaths). The death register reads: Trader, Henry, w/m, 24 Nov 1887 in Accomack Parish, old age, 72 yrs, c/o Trader, Wm.& born in ACC, husband of Trader, Mary, Tate, Rosetta Daughter g/info.
