On the petition of Hamutal the Wife of Jackson Rogers, It is Ordered that the Sherif of the County, do Summon the said Jackson to appear here at the next Court, to Answer the said Petition Copy Teste Griffin Stith ClC
To your worships the Justices now sitting in the court house of Northampton your Petitioner humbly sheweth That my husband Jackson Rogers hath posted me and will not live with me nor give me any relief towards maintainance for me and his babe I humbly begg for your advise to know if I cannot oblige my Said husband to allow me some maintainance and ye petitioner shall ever pray &c Hamutal Rogers July ye 7th 1765

George the Third by the Grace of God, of Great Britain, France and Ireland, King, Defender of Faith &c To the Sheriff of Northampton County Greeting. We command you to summon Sarah Cobb to appear before our Justices of our said County, at the Court House, on the second Tuesday in September next to testify and the Truth to say in Behalf of Jackson Rogers in a certain matter of Controversy in our said Court, before our said Justices depending and undetermined between Hamutal the Wife of the said Jackson Plt and him the said Jackson Deft and this she shall in no wise omit, under the Penalty of £100 witness Griffin Stith Clerk of our said Court, at the said Court House, the XXIVth Day of August in the fifth Year of our Reign.
